Here’s the poncho I dyed with the fern that I found down by the sea.
It’s still possible to get hold of fern!
Today I’ve said good night to the eucalyptus plants. On May 1st I will wake them carefully and I hope to harvest new leaves to color with, during the summer.
This manhole cover I found on Boulevard Édouard in Juan-les-Pins, France on February 7, 2017, half buried in the sand. I took a picture of it, manipulated the image a bit and printed it on cotton fabric. Then the fun began; I padded, embroidered and added a pearl or two, highlighted some details and allowed others to recede more into the background.
